RE: Stock Transfer Donations
Dear Parishioners:
Many of you may not be aware Our Lady of Lebanon has a brokerage account with TD Ameritrade, where stock transfer donations into this account can be made relatively easy. This is another way to support your church, and we hope some of you will consider it. It is recommended to donate appreciated stock, where the donor will get the maximum tax benefit. It is best not to sell the stock, but direct transfer it over fully appreciated, so you can maximize your deduction. The donor is allowed to donate up to 30% of their adjusted gross income, but it is always advisable to consult your tax advisor beforehand.
The donor needs to contact their brokerage company and simply request a partial transfer outbound form for a DTC (Depository Trust Company) transfer to another brokerage firm. This form is only one page, and the following information is needed from us to fill out the form below:

Account Title: Our Lady of Lebanon Church
DTC number: 0188
Account Number: 882-498482
If the donor has an account with TD Ameritrade the process is even simpler. The donor can call the transfer department at 888-723-8504 or simple download the transfer form for internal use. The process is done all the time and is very common. In addition, we will record all donations for your end of year tax statement.
