Maronite Catholic Church, Lombard, IL, USA

This is a courtesy email, I wanted to let you know I featured an in-depth profile of your parish in my column this week, along with several others.  I cited your parish as an outstanding example of parishes in the Chicago area that maintain their rich cultural traditions and identity. My article about diversity in Catholicism used the Maronite church as the answer to this week's trivia question! I hope it will spark some interest in your parish and attract future visitors. I think will you enjoy my column from a Catholic perspective and you are free to re-print it as needed. If I made any mistakes about your community or wrote anything that you think is unfair or gives the wrong impression, please let me so know so I can improve on my writing. Please forward this information to Mgsr. Badawi to share with parishioners. I had difficulty accessing your parish's photo album on your website because it said the password was the pastor's name but after tpying in his name, I couldn't open it. You can read my article at:

http://www.examiner.com/catholic-in-chicago/one-voice-many-faces-a-look-at-our-parishes-part-3

My column is offered completely FREE of charge, and I’m somewhat limited in that I have to focus on all Catholics in the Chicago area (and there are a bunch of us!). I often discuss local Catholic events in southwest Cook County, but also have some interesting articles about the eastern-rite Catholic parish I attend in Homer Glen.

I would very much appreciate feedback and input on my articles, I like to interact with my readers.  Also, if you could do a small favor for me, I'd like you to visit my column at:

http://www.examiner.com/catholic-in-chicago/william-m-leubscher

You can read any of the columns, and please click the orange "Subscribe" button at the top of the articles to get alerts and news feed of my columns regularly. It's 100% FREE to subscribe but I'm paid by number of weekly hits and number of subscribers so more subscribers means more money for me! (and I'm only employed part-time so this is my major source of income right now!) You don't even have to read each column, just subscribe.  You can delete the alerts if you’re busy that day, for example.

It would help me out a lot at this time because I’m still looking for a full time job and have been since March. Keep me in your prayers!

Thanks!

Bill M. Leubscher
